Call for applications: Facilitators for the E.MA Career Day 2014

Dear E.MAlumni, dear Global Campus Alumni, dear friends,

Background:

The E.MA Programme and E.MAlumni Association are once more offering the opportunity travel to Venice as facilitators for the E.MA Career Day 2014. The Career Day, 24 January 2014 (Friday)in Venice.

As in previous years, this event will provide current students of the European M.A. in Human Rights and Democratisation with technical knowledge on their job search and support them in choosing a career path.

Specifications:

We are looking for two different profiles:


  • UN/CoE/OCSE/IGO Facilitator

The ideal candidate has worked in more than one of these institutions and is well experienced with selection processes able to describe their challenges and give suggestion to obtain a position in these institutions. He/She is able to provide detailed information on the career development, describe the range of working profiles available, and provide information about the salary range and the social working conditions. Experience with reviewing CVs and applications and conducting job interviews as well as assessing funding applications will be an asset.


  • NGO/INGO Facilitator

The ideal candidate has worked in one or more international non-governmental organisations or grassroots NGOs with selection processes able to describe their challenges and give suggestion to obtain a position in a NGO working place. He/She is able to provide detailed information on the career development, describe the range of working profiles available, and provide information about the salary range and the social working conditions. Experience with reviewing CVs and applications and conducting job interviews as well as writing funding applications will be an asset.

Language:English.

Who can apply:Everybody. Applications from E.MA graduates will be prioritised.

Logistics: Selected candidates are requested to attend the whole event which will start at 9:00 am on 24 January and end with a networking event in the evening of the same day.

Selected candidates will be notified by 9 January 2014.

Expenses:This is an unpaid position; however, low cost travel (from within Europe), accommodation (2 nights) and meals will be covered by EIUC in accordance with its guidance for speakers.
