I guess some of you might have noticed the diplomatic turmoil over Mikhail Golovatov (suspected for warcrimes in Vilnius on January 13 1991) between Lithuania and Austria (or Eastern Europe against the rest?).
Here is a short summary: http://www.economist.com/blogs/easternapproaches/2011/07/lithuania-and-austria
It appears that techically-legally Austria did no mistake… or? And in any case, the release of Golotov in less than 24 hours because whatever reasons is dubious. It would be interesting to see this from a human rights angle.
